Fleur de Lys is a delightful traditional maison bourgeois in Ansac sur Vienne, built in 1835 with a large garden overlooking a 10 x 5 metre swimming pool and a children's play area, where we have a double room and family suites Bed and Breakfast, all with television, DVD and en suite bathrooms. Ansac is a small village on the banks of the Vienne river about 2.5 km upstream of the beautiful medieval market town of Confolens, almost in the centre of the triangle between Angoulême (40 minutes), Limoges (50 minutes) and Poitiers (1 hour).

The light and airy Breakfast Room has been equipped with a kitchen for the unlimited use of guests, with fridge, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and free tea and coffee making facilities. It also includes a lounge area with UK satellite / French TV and a DVD/Video player (Note - All bedrooms have French TV and DVD players). We have a good collection of mainstream and children's DVDs (as well as paperback books) which guests are welcome to borrow. Excellent lunches and dinners can be arranged with the owners of our local Cafe/Restaurant if required.
